James 4 copy
We’re thrilled to finally be doing this and can’t wait to share this moment with you.

Our journey began long before Justin asked James to be his boyfriend in March 2017. Fate brought us together several times, starting with a random friend request 16 years ago and continuing with an accidental date at a Lorde concert in 2014.

Since then, each milestone has felt natural and seamless, and our journey together has only grown stronger.

We want our wedding to be a celebration of who we are, with a fun party surrounded by our favourite people. Come join us to eat, drink, and create new memories as we kick off this next chapter!

Amy and James have known each other since year 9 when they met slinging chicken breast at the Deli after school
Amy has always been someone James can count on for advice on life decisions and is always up for a chat—when she’s not busy, of course.
As someone who works in the events industry, Amy has been crucial in helping the couple plan this event. So if there’s anything you don’t like, just remember—Amy may have had a hand in choosing it!

Matt and Justin met at work and quickly created a deep and meaningful bond. Matt’s caring, inclusive, and non-judgmental nature really resonated with Justin, and he quickly became a rock for him through some of life's challenges.

Matt will be traveling all the way from his new home in London to be with us, and we know he’ll bring his usual infectious smile and energy with him. And get ready—he’s also a powerhouse on the dance floor.

Technically, you’re all here because of Michelle!

After failing once at matching the boys many years earlier, and at the time Jame’s housemate, Michelle decided now was the right time to invite her friend "Justin" over for Dinner, successfully lighting our spark.

Michelle has been James's longest friend, and one of Justin’s most constant presences. The three of us share a connection that never waives through time or distance.

Unfortunately, for Will he has known the couple for a combined 20 years.
His hobbies include, traveling internationally; quizzing you on wine tasting notes; and wearing disco ball helmets.
Don't let Wills, sarcastic, overbearing, know-it-all, sass-filled (maybe we should leave it there) words fool you. He has become someone the boys look to for sobering advice and someone who will always make them laugh.

Where formal meets cocktail. Feel free to have fun with it, and if that's not for you, formal it is!

The day will be spent indoors.

Can we bring a gift?
Our greatest gift is having you enjoy the celebrations with us, however if you would like to bring a gift, given we’re living in Sydney, we ask that you add to the Wishing Well on the night.
Are children invited to the wedding?
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only.
How should I get there?
The ceremony and reception will all be held at the Boola Bardip, a 3 minute walk from  Perth Train Station. If arriving by car, an easy drop off on Beaufourt St or Francis St.
What will the weather be like?
It’s Perth, so it will be warm! Our wedding will be indoors so there will be no issue with the heat, so please dress accordingly.
Something else?
Feel free to reach out to us or one of the wedding party.
